We are pleased to introduce Castilla y Le\u00f3n Hydrogen Valley, an EU-funded initiative developing and demonstrating one of Europe\u2019s largest integrated hydrogen ecosystems<\/strong> in the Castilla y Le\u00f3n region of Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By linking clean hydrogen production, storage, distribution, and real-world applications across mobility, industry, and energy<\/strong>, the project aims to demonstrate both the technical feasibility and financial viability of green hydrogen<\/strong> as a cornerstone of Europe\u2019s energy transition.<\/p>\n Today\u2019s energy and environmental challenges demand practical and scalable solutions. Reducing carbon emissions, strengthening energy security, and supporting economic resilience are no longer optional goals, but urgent priorities.<\/p>\n Our mission is to accelerate the large-scale deployment of renewable hydrogen<\/strong>, helping cut CO\u2082 emissions while reinforcing energy independence and fostering sustainable economic growth. Through full integration across 11 pilot sites<\/strong> and large-scale operations planned for 2028\u20132029, Castilla y Le\u00f3n Hydrogen Valley will demonstrate how a coordinated regional ecosystem<\/strong> can drive decarbonisation and serve as a replicable model for clean energy development across Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To begin this journey together, we invite you to watch our project video<\/strong>, which highlights the scale of the initiative and the strong collaboration behind it. Castilla y Le\u00f3n Hydrogen Valley has been presented at major events<\/strong>, including European Hydrogen Week 2025 and Hydrogen Research and Innovation Days. More than a communication channel, I hope this space will become a point of connection<\/strong> for all those who want to play an active role in shaping the hydrogen future of Castilla y Le\u00f3n.<\/em><\/p>\n CyLH2Valley has been designed not only to deliver project activities, but also to help build a lasting regional dynamic around hydrogen<\/strong> by aligning stakeholders, strengthening cooperation and creating the conditions for long-term progress across the value chain.<\/em><\/p>\n This ambition is reflected in the project\u2019s mission to pave the way for a clean hydrogen economy<\/strong> in the region by 2035, while engaging a broad stakeholder network through co-design, governance development and participatory processes.<\/em><\/p>\n However, a vision alone will not make the difference. What truly matters is the willingness of organisations and individuals to step forward, exchange knowledge, identify synergies and contribute to something larger than their own initiatives. Building a hydrogen valley requires the active involvement of industry, technology providers, infrastructure actors, public authorities, researchers, local communities and many others.<\/em><\/p>\n For this reason, the project will promote peer-to-peer discussions, workshops, training activities and tailored stakeholder dialogue<\/strong>.
