Armonia Green Burgos \u2013 Clean hydrogen generation project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This pilot involves the development of a <strong>green hydrogen production facility<\/strong> in Melgar de Fernamental (Burgos, Spain), an area with strong solar irradiation and wind resources. The project foresees <strong>500 MW of electrolysis capacity<\/strong> in <strong>two phases<\/strong>: <strong>40 MW<\/strong> initially, followed by a <strong>460 MW<\/strong> expansion. In the first phase, 25 MW (about 3,640 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per year) will be allocated to CyLH2Valley operations. Hydrogen will be mainly used for downstream <strong>green ammonia synthesis<\/strong>. Electricity will be supplied through a PPA from IGNIS\u2019s renewable portfolio, supported by a 54 MW self-consumption grid connection. Water will be sourced from the Pisuerga River basin. Hydrogen will be transported by tube trailers.
