Large-scale renewable hydrogen production for industrial use
This pilot site, located in Melgar de Fernamental, involves the installation of 25 MW of electrolysis capacity dedicated to the CyLH2 Valley operational ecosystem (3,640 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per year). The hydrogen may be dispatched in tube trailers either by rail or by road, thanks to the site’s direct intermodal transport connections.
The supply strategy envisages electricity supply through a PPA sourced from the renewable energy portfolio of the IGNIS group, as well as water supply from the Canal de Castilla.
